Write It Out

With so many sleepless nights during this vacation, I've had some time to think about what it is I want to do. And while I don't have it all worked out quite yet {do any of us??} I've been taking some good notes,  which led me to unearthing my supply of journals.

I have thing for paper, you see.  I can't resist a pretty journals filled with lined pages-ready and waiting for words to keep them company.  It's a practice I've neglected since blogging entered my world.  Throw in pretty colors and patterns and it's sold.

My favorite journals are those with pretty eye-catching covers with elastic closures.  I have several dedicated to different topics:


Blogging ideas, life lists-This is one I've embellished with scrap booking bookplates, some left-over vellum, and alphabet stamps.

Everyday journalling-okay, not every  day...but you know what I mean.  I've started to include some random Instax pics along with the journalling.

Purse Notes-These mini notebooks are perfect for grocery lists, jotting down numbers and directions, and general everyday use.  I just recently started carrying one for Thom to use {now only if I could remember to actually carry a pen with me!}.  Washi tape is perfect for adding interest to plain covers.

With so many journals you'd think I'd have a hard time keeping track of what I've written where-but the funny thing is-I don't!  I usually remember the exact notebook I've used.
